Senior Account/ Business Development Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver customized solutions to clients.
  5. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  7. Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and senior management.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales team members, fostering their professional development and success.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  2. Proven experience in sales and business development roles within the IT hardware manufacturing and distribution industry.
  3. Strong understanding of IT hardware products, technologies, and market dynamics.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
  6. Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed.
