Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Team Lead – Financial Services to oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and experience working with ERP and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements by store/region.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and cost allocations (labour, overheads, and shared costs).
- Perform reconciliations and month-end closure activities.
- Utilize ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, and reporting tools including Tableau and Power BI.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Lead and coordinate financial operations within the assigned function.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a relevant finance/accounting role.
- Hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R) processes is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Previous exposure to working with foreign clients/stakeholders will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing SLAs and timelines.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis aligned with UK Time (12:30 PM – 9:30 PM) and calendar schedules.
