Executive – Marketing Operations

Roles & Responsibilities

 Key Requirements:

  • Around 02 years of post-qualifying experience in marketing, branding, coordinating corporate events, customer engagement activities, or promotional campaigns.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, technology, IT services, ERP, SaaS, or professional services environments will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple marketing activities simultaneously and deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Strong communication, coordination, presentation, relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 and familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions

Educational Qualifications:

  • A diploma or HND in relevant discipline.
  • Professional qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Additional qualifications or certifications in event management, brand management, digital marketing, or customer relationship management will be beneficial.
  • Good understanding of fundamental marketing principles, customer engagement, branding, events, and corporate communications.
  • School leavers with the right attitude may be considered at an associate level.

Key Responsibilities:

 Marketing Operations & Campaign Coordination

  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day marketing activities in line with approved marketing plans and business priorities.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and corporate communications.
  • Coordinate marketing calendars, activity schedules, campaign timelines, and required deliverables.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely execution of marketing activities.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness and reach of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, quotations, approvals, and other administrative requirements relating to marketing activities.

Events & Corporate Activities

  • Plan, coordinate, and support the execution of corporate events, customer events, exhibitions, seminars, webinars, workshops, networking sessions, and other promotional activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, invitations, registrations, branding, suppliers, promotional materials, guest management, and on-site arrangements.
  • Liaise with customers, partners, speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Support post-event follow-ups, feedback collection, reporting, and relationship-building activities.
  • Identify relevant industry events and networking opportunities that may support the company’s business and brand objectives.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers at an appropriate level in coordination with Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Coordinate customer communications relating to marketing campaigns, events, product awareness initiatives, and corporate activities.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on marketing-related requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating customer meetings, presentations, invitations, events, and other engagement activities.
  • Escalate sales opportunities, customer requirements, complaints, or commercial matters to the relevant Sales or Management personnel.
  • Support the development of long-term customer relationships through consistent and professional engagement.

Corporate Branding & Brand Management

  • Support the consistent application of the company’s corporate identity and brand guidelines across marketing materials, events, digital platforms, presentations, and communications.
  • Coordinate the development and production of brochures, company profiles, presentations, promotional materials, event collateral, merchandise, signage, and other branding assets.
  • Work with designers, agencies, photographers, videographers, and other external parties to develop quality marketing content and materials.
  • Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, professionalism, and alignment with approved brand standards before publication.
  • Support initiatives aimed at strengthening corporate visibility, brand recognition, and market positioning.

Digital & Content Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with relevant internal and external teams on social media, website, email marketing, digital campaigns, and other online marketing activities.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of marketing content including corporate announcements, event communications, campaign materials, case studies, newsletters, and promotional content.
  • Maintain a structured content calendar and coordinate timely publishing of approved content.
  • Monitor engagement and basic performance indicators of digital marketing activities and provide relevant updates to Management.

Marketing Material & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with external suppliers, printers, event organizers, creative agencies, media partners, and other marketing service providers.
  • Obtain quotations and coordinate procurement requirements in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, quality, and costs associated with marketing-related vendors and activities.
  • Maintain a reliable database of marketing vendors, partners, event contacts, and service providers.
  • Ensure marketing expenditure is appropriately coordinated and aligned with approved budgets.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to support lead-generation, customer engagement, and business development initiatives.
  • Support the organization of client presentations, product demonstrations, industry campaigns, and business networking activities.
  • Assist in preparing company presentations, capability profiles, event materials, and other business development collateral.
  • Support lead-generation activities arising from events, campaigns, exhibitions, digital initiatives, and other marketing activities.
  • Ensure relevant marketing-generated leads and customer inquiries are appropriately recorded and referred to the responsible Sales or Business Development personnel.

Market & Competitor Awareness

  • Monitor industry developments, market trends, customer engagement practices, competitor activities, and emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Conduct basic market research to support marketing campaigns, events, and business development initiatives.
  • Identify relevant platforms, communities, events, partnerships, and promotional opportunities that may enhance the company’s market presence.
  • Provide periodic observations and recommendations to Management based on market activities.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, events, campaigns, customer engagements, leads, and related outcomes.
  • Prepare periodic marketing activity reports and updates for Management.
  • Track campaign, event, engagement, and lead-generation performance against agreed objectives.
  • Maintain the marketing activity calendar and ensure timely completion of planned initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of marketing processes, systems, and operational practices.
