Build, configure, and maintain the Microsoft Azure estate – VMs, networking, storage, IAM, and PaaS services – ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and performance across the environment.
Run vulnerability scans and security reviews, analyse and prioritise findings, and hands-on remediate through patching, hardening, and configuration changes alongside internal teams and vendors.
Implement and enforce security controls and configurations that meet company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices for IT security and data protection.
Coordinate directly with vendors and service providers on infrastructure and cloud solutions – sizing, deployment, troubleshooting, support escalations, and maintenance.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the infrastructure team, and drive IT projects hands-on from design and build through testing and deployment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Currently pursuing or completed Azure certifications such as AZ-900 and AZ-104.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Administration, or Application Support.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Backup & Security).
Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Firewalls, SD-WAN, and endpoint management solutions.
Experience supporting enterprise applications and coordinating with external vendors.
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
