Senior Security Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience: 4 - 5 Years
 Education: Bachelor in Software Engineering (SE), Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or equivalent. Alternatively, domain experience with an additional 2 years of experience beyond the required experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Architecture & Design: Design and implement robust security frameworks to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure.
  • Advanced Threat Intelligence & Forensics: Analyze security threats, investigate incidents, and conduct forensic analysis.
  • Zero-Trust & Identity Security Implementation: Implement zero-trust security models and enhance identity and access management (IAM) systems.
  • Security Automation & AI-Driven Defense: Use automation and AI to enhance security monitoring and threat detection.
  • Security Awareness & Training: Lead training sessions on security best practices and compliance.

 

Required Technical Skill Sets:

  • Security Architecture: Experience in developing security frameworks and architecture.
  • Threat Intelligence: Proficiency in analyzing and responding to advanced threats.
  • Zero-Trust Security: Expertise in implementing zero-trust models, IAM, and MFA (multi-factor authentication).
  • Security Automation: Experience with security automation platforms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

 

Preferred Competencies:

  • Advanced Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
  • Cloud Security: Expertise in securing cloud environments and implementing cloud-native security controls.
  • Forensics: Experience in security forensics and incident investigations.
