Description of Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting functions and assist in preparing monthly financial statements
  • Finalize bank reconciliations
  • Work with Sage Accounting Software
  • Coordinate tax preparation (VAT / SVAT / WHT)
  • Participate in stock count audits
  • Assist in conducting annual audits
  • Handle branch operation-related complaints
     

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role (Mandatory)
  • Successfully completed Business Level 1 in CA
  • Professional qualification in CIMA / AAT / CMA or equivalent (partly or fully qualified)
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Accounting Software is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
