Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP Applications including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management (L2/L3 support)
Provide senior-level support for SAP ABAP development, including customizations, enhancements, and bug fixes across SAP environments
Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex ABAP programs and solutions
Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs to ensure optimal execution
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and provide expert advice on ABAP development
Lead and coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues and system outages
Develop and maintain technical documentation including system configuration, installation procedures, and guidelines
Mentor and train junior SAP ABAP team members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on technical issues
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and SAP best practices to improve efficiency through automation and innovation
Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support as needed
Work in shifts based on client or business requirements
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
3–7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including SAP S/4 HANA ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 development
Minimum 3 years’ experience in level 3 support and global operations
Strong understanding of SAP functional modules and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in multi-region environments
Experience working in global teams, managing time zone differences and cultural nuances
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Flexibility to work shifts and on-call support for critical business requirements
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in ABAP programming concepts: ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, RICEFWs
Experience with SAP ABAP development tools (ABAP Workbench, ABAP Development Tools, SAP Fiori)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for SAP ABAP development
SAP Certification such as SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver
