Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: TechOps SAP Senior MM Consultant (SAP AMS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP MM (incident management, service requests, change and problem management) as L2/L3 support
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide SAP MM solutions and design recommendations
• Develop and maintain documentation (configurations, user guides, test scripts)
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues with users and internal teams
• Handle change requests with a clear understanding of business requirements
• Perform defect analysis and resolve SAP MM related issues
• Analyze incidents and provide effective solutions to minimize business disruption
• Drive improvements through automation, innovation, and SAP best practices
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support when required
• Work in shifts based on client requirements

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in SAP MM (preferably with global clients)
• Strong experience in handling SAP MM incidents and application support
• Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes:
  • Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Receipt (IR), Vendor Payment
  • Service Procurement (Service Entry Sheet - SES)
  • Contract Management (Value/Quantity Contracts)
  • Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
  • Master Data (LTMC, Migration Cockpit)
• Experience in defect analysis and issue resolution
• Knowledge of SAP MM integration with FI, SD, PP, and PM modules
• Ability to analyze business requirements and provide efficient solutions
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience working in onsite/offshore models is an advantage
• Ability to work independently in a time-critical environment
• Flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support
