Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institute.
Minimum two years of experience in payroll or relevant HR/finance functions.
Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan payroll regulations and statutory compliance (EPF, ETF, , API tax, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
Ability to work under pressure and manage SLAs and timelines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve payroll calculations, statutory deductions, and final reports before submission.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance, IT) and external stakeholders including clients, auditors, and regulators.
Maintain and update payroll policies, procedures, and documentation.
Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and service delivery.
Monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
