Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop solutions using the standard tech stack including Python, Linux (WSL), PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Design and implement data capabilities including ingesting large datasets, building APIs, and handling high-frequency event streams.

Integrate with ITSM platforms such as Freshdesk and Freshchat using APIs, REST, and webhooks.

Troubleshoot API calls, JSON payloads, and system integration issues.

Work with frontend elements such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when configuring widgets or integrations.

Configure automations, workflows, SLAs, routing rules, and inbox logic.

Model operational and analytical data in collaboration with internal teams and data users.

Support outbound communication flows such as email and push notifications, including template and branding configuration.

Contribute to CI/CD automation and improve the quality and reliability of software releases.

Participate in test automation and maintain clear technical documentation.

Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Ensure application security and API implementations follow required standards.

Key Requirements

Strong experience in software engineering using Python and working with Linux environments.

Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

Experience building and integrating APIs using REST, webhooks, and JSON.

Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

Experience with CI/CD processes and automation practices.

Knowledge of data modelling for operational and analytical systems.

Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integrations.

Experience configuring workflows, automation, and service management tools is an advantage.

Ability to mentor team members and participate in design and code reviews.

Good documentation and communication skills.
