Unqork SME / Technical Expert (Integrations & Azure)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Application Maintenance & Evolution – Manage and optimize existing Unqork modules to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Integration Orchestration – Design and implement integrations between Unqork and external systems and support transitions to new API standards released by partners.
• Azure Infrastructure Alignment – Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to manage Azure Private Links, VNet peering, and API Management (APIM) to ensure secure data flow.
• Defect Resolution – Provide Level 3 support for complex platform issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and deploy fixes.
• Insurance Domain Logic – Translate insurance workflows such as policy issuance, claims processing, and underwriting rules into Unqork logic.
• Governance & Mentorship – Establish Unqork best practices and mentor junior developers in the Sri Lankan team.
Key Requirements
• Unqork Expertise – Strong experience with Unqork Module Builder, Workflow Engine, and Data Collections. Experience with Unqork Integration Gateway is required.
• Azure Knowledge – Understanding of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus and their integration with SaaS platforms.
• API Expertise – Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and API versioning or migration.
• Insurance Domain Experience – Experience in the Insurance sector (P&C, Life, or Health) is highly preferred.
• Data Handling – Strong knowledge of MongoDB and data transformation using Unqork Plug-Ins and Data Workflow components.
