Assistant Manager (UK Accounts Preparation)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and company tax returns

File statutory accounts with Companies House and HMRC

Prepare personal tax returns

Coordinate with the bookkeeping team and advise on year-end journals

Liaise with senior management to resolve accounting and reporting issues

Key Requirements

Strong accounting knowledge with month-end finalization experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance and Accounting

At least 2 years of experience in UK Accounts Preparation

Knowledge of UK Accounting Standards (IFRS, FRS 102 (1A), FRS 105)

Experience with IRIS software (added advantage)

Degree or professional qualification in Finance or Accounting

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability

Ability to work according to the UK working calendar
