Cloud Engineer – Microsoft Azure Infrastructure

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Perform assessments of customer Azure environments to evaluate configuration, performance, and security posture.

Design, deploy, and manage complete Azure solutions including:

Compute: Virtual Machines, App Services, Scale Sets, AKS

Storage: Blob, Files, Managed Disks, Backup, Recovery Vault

Networking: VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, Load Balancers, Application Gateway

Security & Governance: Defender for Cloud, Azure Policies, RBAC, Key Vault

Monitoring & Automation: Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Automation Accounts

Support hybrid deployments and VPN-based connectivity with on-premises environments.

Perform cost management, performance tuning, and security hardening.

Provide technical support and handle customer change requests and incidents.

Prepare deployment documentation, design diagrams, and post-assessment reports.

Key Requirements

Certifications: AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals), AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate).

Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Azure resource deployment and operations.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with Azure Portal and PowerShell.

Strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.

Familiar with Azure governance, backup, and monitoring tools.

Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills.
