English Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive English language lectures and tutorials.
  • Develop, update, and implement course materials to enhance student learning.
  • Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical sessions.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching methodologies and curriculum.
  • Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Key Requirements:

  • HND in English with 2 years of experience OR B.A in English, B.Ed in English, B.A TESOL, B.A Language Translation, CELTA, or TEFL qualifications.
  • Minimum 6-12 months of teaching experience.
  • Strong passion for teaching and student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
